The Krogan are a varied race, each choosing their own path in life. Most choose to live underground, fighting amongst themselves for glory and honor. The exact rituals are unknown to all. The Krogan kill any other species that enters their domain.
Grunt chooses a life of glory beyond the Krogan domain. He floats around with various mercenary groups, joining any cause he thinks will bring him glory.
His memories are increasingly fuzzy and eratic. Something is killing him from the inside. An enemy without a face. He fears this enemy will take him to the abyss, snatching away all his hopes for glory. He stands alone in a cave waiting for his purpose to be made clear.
